Melchizedek Experience
I was happy to find your site.
Here's my story (so far......)Many years ago, while living in Florida, I was in a crystal and jewelry shop when the shop owner approached me. He handed me a flyer inviting me to a "gathering" that evening. It was very spontaneous and mysterious, but I really felt drawn to attend. Later that evening, on the way to the gathering, I stopped for fast food. When the clerk handed me my change, I noticed an odd symbol appearing on my palm. It was faint, but the moonlight shining through my windshield drew my attention to it. I'd never noticed it before, nor had I seen such a symbol. It was outlined on my palm in the center, with the lines of my hand. Since I was sort of used to mystical experiences in my life, I shrugged it off and continued to the event.
When I arrived at the location, I was a little late and took a seat in the back of the room. It ended up that a special man was doing "initiations" into the order of Melchizedek. Although I was not consciously aware of the order, it resonated deeply within me and no questions were necessary. I felt the sacredness within, and knew it was where I was meant to be. He said all of us who had shown up that evening (maybe 20 people), were already Priests of the Order who came together to reunite and renew. It was a wonderful and magical evening. We each sat before the group and received the ordinations. I felt that I was with my family.
At some point, the Priest who was ordaining us raised up the symbol of the order. It was a circle interconnected with a triangle (pyramid.) "So above, so below," he stated. I realized that it was this exact symbol I saw in the moonlight on my palm. The symbol has been with me since that night as a loving and powerful reminder.
Since then, I often call upon my brother priests in prayer, and feel that I answer the calls of my brothers in other realms. However, I long for the ability to spend time with, meet with, and work with other reverends of the order in my daily life. I think it is important in these times to gather together in ritual and community to work together in creative intention.
